What ōrbita is

What is ōrbita?

ōrbita is a marketing platform for agencies, community managers and small businesses that writes the communication strategy of each company and, every month, its content proposals for social media. The professional reviews them, edits them and schedules them, and ōrbita publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile.

Who is ōrbita for?

For small agencies and freelance community managers who handle several clients, for businesses with several locations or brands, and for small businesses and self-employed people who run their own social media. In every case the unit is the company: each client or business has its own strategy, its own content and its own calendar.

How is ōrbita different from Metricool, Buffer or Hootsuite?

Those tools help you schedule and measure what you decide to publish. ōrbita decides with you what to publish: it writes the communication strategy and each month's proposals from the company's real data, and it schedules them too. They are better at advanced analytics and cover more networks; ōrbita solves the blank page and the time spent per client. Honest tables, with verified prices, in the comparisons: Metricool, Buffer and Hootsuite.

How is ōrbita's AI different from ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude?

A general-purpose AI only returns what you know how to ask for, and you have to explain the business every time. ōrbita already knows each company (its strategy, its catalogue, its customers' questions, its social proof) and works without being asked: every month you find the proposals ready and explained. You do not write prompts.

Who is behind ōrbita?

Mónica Lorenzo, with more than 20 years as an outsourced marketing director for small businesses and as a lecturer in master's programmes, and Adrià Solé, a computer engineer and mathematician specialised in SaaS platforms. ōrbita is built in Barcelona with the support of Fundación ONCE, Fundación Prevent and Esade.

How it works

How does ōrbita work, step by step?

One: you add the company through a guided chat of about 10 minutes; if it has a website, ōrbita reads it to prefill the data. Two: with the Star plan, ōrbita writes the communication strategy and you review it. Three: with the Star plan, every month you get up to 8 content proposals with the reason behind each one, the script and the text for each network. Four: you add the media, edit and schedule. Five: ōrbita publishes and keeps the metrics. Guides for each section in the help center.

What is the communication strategy that ōrbita writes?

A document with the value proposition, ideal customer, SWOT, positioning, brand voice, main goal, content pillars, recommended networks and seasonal calendar. You edit it in the app and you can share it with your client through a read-only link. Details in the strategy guide.

Is the content ōrbita writes generic?

No. Each proposal comes from that company's communication strategy, its catalogue, its customers' real questions and its social proof. Each proposal explains why it is proposed and who it speaks to. ōrbita never makes up social proof or a fact about the business. And if the onboarding does not have enough data, it tells you instead of filling the gap with fluff.

Does ōrbita publish automatically without anyone reviewing it?

No. Nothing is published until a person with Editor access or higher schedules it. ōrbita prepares the work; the approval and the relationship with the client are yours.

Does ōrbita generate images or videos?

No. ōrbita writes texts, scripts and a prompt ready for whichever image or video tool you use. You upload the media from your computer or phone, or bring it from Canva with "Import from Canva" and "Create with Canva" and from your Google Drive with "Import from Google Drive". It does include cropping for each network, Reel and TikTok covers and YouTube thumbnails.

What kind of proposals will ōrbita write for me, and how many?

With the Star plan, up to 8 proposals a month per company, and you decide how many of each format. There are four: short video (script, filming directions and post text), carousel (content of each slide, design recommendations and text), image post (text, recommendations for the photo and a prompt to generate it with AI) and text only. The mix is set per company in Company settings > Company, Settings section, and it can add up to fewer than 8. Soon you will be able to ask for more. Details in the content guide.

Which social networks does ōrbita publish to?

Instagram (professional account), Facebook (pages), LinkedIn (personal profile), TikTok, YouTube and Google Business Profile. Each company connects one account per network. What each network asks for and its current limits: connecting networks and publishing. If Instagram asks you for a Facebook page and you do not know where to start: why you need one and how to link them.

What happens if I do not connect a social network?

You can still schedule. About 30 minutes before the planned time, ōrbita emails you the final text and the media, ready to copy and paste into the network. No post is lost because the account is not connected.

Can I schedule videos and Shorts on YouTube from ōrbita?

Yes. You connect your YouTube channel from Connections and schedule videos and Shorts like any other post: you choose the date and time and ōrbita publishes them. YouTube decides on its own, from the file format (vertical or square and up to 3 minutes), whether the video becomes a Short; you do not need to write #Shorts. More in the YouTube guide.

What file size and length does ōrbita accept for YouTube?

Up to 1 GB per file, in mp4, mov or webm. The maximum length is 15 minutes if your channel is not verified by phone, or 60 minutes if it is. The other limits (title, description, tags, thumbnail) are in the YouTube guide.

Why does my Short not have the thumbnail I uploaded?

Because ōrbita does not offer a custom thumbnail for Shorts: it is a YouTube limit, since Shorts always use a frame from the video itself. A custom thumbnail is only available for regular videos, with a JPEG or PNG image of up to 2 MB. More in the YouTube guide.

Can my agent write the title and description of my YouTube video?

Yes. Your connected agent can write or rewrite the title, the description with its chapters, the tags and the category of a YouTube video. What it can never do is tick "made for kids" or the AI-generated content notice for you, or publish or schedule: you decide that in ōrbita. More in Connect your agent and in the YouTube guide.

Does ōrbita have social media metrics?

Yes. Every day it stores followers, views, interactions and posts from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google Business Profile and the LinkedIn personal profile, with details for each post. Reach and audience for Instagram and Facebook depend on a permission that Meta has to approve. Details in the metrics guide.

Can I reply to comments from ōrbita?

Yes. The Interactions inbox brings together, per company, the comments, mentions and reviews from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google Business Profile: you read, reply, react, hide and archive without opening each network; with the Star plan you can also assign each interaction to someone on the team. LinkedIn (personal profile and company page) is coming soon. Private messages do not go into the inbox. Details in the Interactions guide.

Can I manage several clients with a single account?

Yes. Each client is a company inside your account, with its own strategy, content, connections and collaborators. You switch company from the selector. You pay per company and, on the Star plan, users are unlimited.

Do my clients need an ōrbita account?

To see the communication strategy, no: it is shared through a read-only link. To comment on and approve proposals, yes: you invite them as collaborators with Viewer access (they comment, they do not publish) or whichever level you want. Details in collaborators and access levels.

Does ōrbita replace the community manager?

No. It replaces the hours spent starting from scratch: understanding the business, deciding what to publish and writing it. The judgement, the visual production, the relationship with the client and replying to the community still belong to the professional. The goal is for more clients to be worth it with the same hours.

Pricing and account

How much does ōrbita cost?

Your user is free. You pay for each company you manage, with its own plan and its own billing cycle, monthly or yearly, with no minimums and no plan jumps: the Satellite plan costs €4 a month per company and the Star plan costs €15 a month per company, taxes not included and with a yearly discount. Star includes AI drafting of the strategy and of the monthly content. You can have as many companies as you want. Current prices and details on pricing.

Can I try ōrbita for free?

Yes. The free trial lasts 14 days, needs no card and includes everything in Star, counted from the moment you create your account. It is only for your first company. If the period runs out before you create it, the company starts without a trial and needs a plan. The following companies also need their own plan from the start. If a company is left without a plan, your data is safe, but the company is locked until it has a plan; once you activate one, it comes back instantly. When you subscribe you are asked for a card and the plan is charged at that moment; after that it renews every month or every year, depending on the cycle you choose. More in end of the trial and companies without a plan.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, with no commitment and no penalty. You cancel from Company settings > Plan and billing, in the web version. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. We do not refund amounts already paid, except where the law gives you that right. After that the company is locked: your data is safe and nothing is deleted, but it cannot be viewed or used until it has a plan, and whatever was scheduled is not published. You can reactivate it whenever you want: the steps are in end of the trial and companies without a plan.

Does ōrbita have a mobile app?

Yes, for iOS and Android, as well as the web version at app.orbitasolutions.org. Subscriptions are taken out and managed only from the web version (Company settings > Plan and billing); the apps show no prices and no purchases, and everything else works as usual.

Where is my data and can I delete it?

Data is processed in line with the GDPR and as detailed in the privacy policy. From the app you can request a copy of your data, which we email to you in less than 30 days, and delete your account immediately and irreversibly; the procedure is on the data deletion page (in Spanish).

Marketplace, bots and agents

What is the ōrbita marketplace?

A public directory of agencies and community managers who work with ōrbita. Each listing shows services, languages, sectors and approximate area, and with a free account you see their contact details to talk to them directly.

Can an AI agent or a bot use ōrbita?

Yes, yours: ōrbita has an MCP connector so your own assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another compatible one) can work with your companies with your same permissions. It reads the context, the proposals and the metrics, leaves drafts for you to review and, if you give it that permission and you ask for it and confirm it in the chat, it schedules a post or replies to a comment for you. In Claude you add it from its connector directory; in other assistants, by pasting https://mcp.orbitasolutions.org/mcp: the steps are in Connect your agent. There is no public API with keys. For bots and agents without an account there is the public documentation: this help center, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and the /bot page, which also explains what Orbita-Bot is.

What is Orbita-Bot and why did it visit my website?

Orbita-Bot is the crawler ōrbita uses when a user enters their company website during onboarding: it visits the home page and a few internal pages to prefill the catalogue, frequently asked questions and context. It identifies itself as Orbita-Bot/1.0 (+https://orbitasolutions.org/bot) and does not crawl websites on its own. More on /bot.
