Brand Kit, catalog, customer questions and social proof: the company's data

The Brand Kit stores the brand's logos, colors, typefaces and links. The catalog, customer questions and social proof store what the company sells, what its customers ask and what people say about it. All of that is the raw material of the content proposals: the more complete it is, the more the content looks like the business.

Why fill in these sections

Content proposals do not come from a generic prompt. They come from the communication strategy and from the data in these sections: what the company sells, what its customers ask, what people say about it and how it looks. You do not need to fill everything in at once; what matters is building it up over time.

Brand Kit, catalog, customer questions and social proof are part of the Star plan. On the Satellite plan you can look at what the company already has saved, but not add or edit.

Brand Kit

The Brand Kit is the visual summary of the brand. It serves two purposes: making the content look consistent with the brand and having the material at hand to share with whoever needs it.

  • Logos: main and alternative. PNG, JPG or WebP up to 10 MB.
  • Colors: three tones, primary, secondary and accent.
  • Typefaces: one for headings and one for body text.
  • External links: Canva, Drive, Figma or wherever you keep more material. To bring files into a proposal you do not need the link: Canva and Google Drive are connected from Company settings > Tools and imported from the proposal itself.

Editing the Brand Kit requires Admin level.

Catalog

The list of products or services, each with its description and its images or videos. If you gave the website in onboarding, part of the catalog comes preloaded and you only have to review it. Content proposals talk about what is in the catalog. Editing it requires Editor level.

Customer questions: what they really ask

In Brand > Customer questions you note down the questions customers really ask, by phone, on WhatsApp or at the counter. It is one of the best sources of content there is: each question is a post that answers something someone already wanted to know. When a proposal comes from one of these questions, the proposal says so.

Social proof

In Brand > Social proof you save real testimonials, figures and recognitions: a customer’s opinion, “over 300 projects delivered”, an industry award. Each proof has a «Use this proof in content» switch: the ones that are on can appear in the month’s proposals. ōrbita never invents social proof; if none is active, it does not use any.

If you gave the website, ōrbita extracts the literal opinions it finds and saves them switched on, so they can appear in proposals from the first month. Review them in Social proof and switch off «Use this proof in content» on the ones you do not want to use.

Company profile

In Company settings > Company are the business’s basic details: name, sector, address, phone, website and networks. They are edited on the spot and saved on their own. The tax details are in Company settings > Plan and billing and the company’s collaborators are managed in Company settings > Members and agents. In the Settings section of Company you choose the language and form of address the content is written in (guide on language and form of address), the calendar time zone and how many proposals of each format ōrbita writes each month (guide on content).
