Metrics: how your connected networks are doing

Metrics saves a snapshot of each company's connected networks every day: followers, views, interactions and posts, with the detail by network and by post. Today it covers Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Google Business Profile and the LinkedIn personal profile. It updates on its own once a day and on demand with Refresh.

What you see in Metrics

At the top, the four indicators of the chosen period for all connected networks or for just one: Followers, Views, Interactions and Posts, with the change since the start of the period. Below, the evolution of followers (or subscribers on YouTube) and the Posts of the period list, sortable by date, likes, comments or views. Posts made from ōrbita carry a mark to tell them apart from the ones published by other means.

On the Satellite plan you can only look at the last 30 days (the detail by plan is in pricing); the full history is on the Star plan.

What each network measures today

Network Data available
Instagram Followers and number of posts; likes and comments per post.
Facebook Page followers; reactions, comments and shares per post.
YouTube Channel subscribers, views and videos; views, likes and comments per video.
TikTok Followers, the account’s accumulated likes and number of videos; views, likes, comments and times shared per video. TikTok does not give the account’s total views.
Google Business Profile Times the listing appeared in Maps and Search (and from which device), actions from the listing (calls, clicks to the website, directions, messages, bookings and menu clicks), what the people who found you were searching for, your reviews (average rating, reply rate and time), the photos and videos uploaded and the Google posts of the period. According to Google, this data arrives 5 or 6 days late; it does not give metrics per post. More in Your Google listing.
LinkedIn (personal profile) Impressions, reactions, comments and times shared, only for posts made from ōrbita. LinkedIn does not allow reading a profile’s followers or listing its posts.

If you connected LinkedIn before Metrics existed, the app will ask you to disconnect and connect the profile again: LinkedIn requires a new permission to read statistics.

The same happens with TikTok if you connected it before 12 October 2026: the TikTok tab will ask you to disconnect and connect the account again, because TikTok requires two new permissions to read your followers and your videos’ statistics. Then tap Refresh.

Web: Search Console

If you connect Google Search Console, the Web tab appears, with the clicks, impressions, CTR and average position of your website on Google, what people were searching for and which pages showed up, plus content ideas for your frequent questions. It is in the Satellite, Star and Galaxy plans; on Satellite, up to the last 30 days. The steps and the detail are in Search Console in ōrbita.

If you turn on link tracking, under the totals the Clicks on your links card appears: the clicks on the short links of your posts and on the ones you create by hand, by post and network.

Reports with your agent

Next to the period are Generate report and Reports: your agent writes the metrics report with your data and ōrbita saves it so you can read it or share it with a link. How it works: Metrics reports with your agent.

How it updates

ōrbita reads the networks once a day (at 05:10 UTC) and saves the snapshot, so the history builds up from the day you connect each network. If you want the data now, tap Refresh. The first time you open Metrics with a newly connected network, tap Refresh to see the first data.

What is not available yet

The screen itself says so, and it is worth knowing before promising a report:

  • Reach, views and audience on Instagram and Facebook depend on a statistics permission that Meta has to approve. In the meantime followers, likes and comments are saved.
  • Visits to your website that do not come from Google are not measured in ōrbita. What you do see, with Search Console connected, is how people find you on Google; and with link tracking, the clicks on your short links.
