All my companies
All my companies gathers all the companies you have access to, split into «Your companies» and «Shared with you». From top to bottom:
- Each company’s getting-started guide. It only appears while one of your companies has pending steps in its getting-started guide: the list of steps with the company name, so you pick up where you left off.
- Your companies. One card per company, with its name and when it was last active («Active today», «Active yesterday»…). The ones someone shares with you carry the Shared label and your access level: «You collaborate as Editor», for example.
- Add company. The last card creates a new company.
If you do not have any company yet you will see «Welcome to ōrbita» and the Create your first company button, which opens the company sign-up.
When someone invites you to their company, the first time you will see a notice at the top with the company and your level: «You collaborate on» followed by the name. You can close it and it does not come back.
Switch company
There are two ways:
- From All my companies: tap the company’s card. It becomes the active company and its Home opens.
- From the menu: the COMPANY selector opens your recent companies and the list of all your companies, split into «My companies» and «Shared with you» if you collaborate on any. At the end are All my companies and Add company.
In the selector, a company that has not finished setting up yet appears as «Setting up». If it is yours, you can delete it right there with the trash can.
Everything you see in the rest of the menu (Calendar, Inbox, Brand, Company settings…) always belongs to the active company.
A company’s Home
When you enter a company, its Home welcomes you, with today’s date and a greeting with your name. While the company has pending steps, the first thing you see is its getting-started guide, «Get [company] going», with the step that is next. What is below depends on whether the company already has its strategy.
When the company already has a strategy
- An idea to grow. A short tip that changes every day.
- Upcoming proposals. The next proposals with a date, up to three, with their day, time, status and networks. When you tap one, the proposal opens; View calendar opens the Calendar. If none is in the queue, the block says so: «There are no proposals in the queue yet.»
- Your plan. The main goal of your communication strategy. Open takes you to the full strategy.
- Feed ōrbita. Two quick captures to jot something down without leaving Home:
- Product for the catalog: you write only the name and complete it later in the Catalog.
- Customer question: the doubt just as they asked it. Each question is a content idea.
On wide screens, Your plan and Feed ōrbita sit in a column on the right; on mobile, below.
When it does not have one yet
Home shows the getting-started guide with the steps that are missing: the questions about the business, the catalog, the customers’ questions and the plan. From it you can also jump to connecting the networks and scheduling your own posts. The steps are in How to set up a company.
If something was left half done
- «Finish preparing your plan»: with the details you gave it was not possible to write a tailored strategy. Complete my details goes back to the questions to complete them. The plan step of the guide also offers to carry on with just the networks and your own content.
- «We could not generate your plan»: it was a one-off technical failure and your answers are still saved. Try again launches it again.
What changes with the plan
All my companies and each company’s Home are in all plans. What changes is the content of Home:
- The strategy and the monthly proposals written with AI are part of the Star plan. In a company on the Satellite plan there is no Your plan block and Home suggests you connect your networks and create the content yourself.
- The quick captures depend on what the plan includes: the catalog and customer questions are Star. If the company’s plan does not include them, they do not appear.
- During the trial, your first company works with what Star includes. The other companies work with the plan you choose for each one.
What each plan includes: pricing. If when you open a company you see the «This company has no active plan» screen, it is explained in End of the trial and company without a plan.
On mobile
On narrow screens, at the top there is a header with the company and your avatar, which opens your account, and at the bottom a bar with five shortcuts: Home, Calendar, Compose, Inbox and More. Compose creates a new draft in the active company and opens it. Inbox gathers Interactions and Tasks, and More has the rest of the sections.
