What changes
You now choose the visibility of each video (public, unlisted or private) and whether your subscribers are notified when it is published.
The size limit goes up to 1 GB, with up to 15 minutes of length (60 minutes if your channel has its phone verified on YouTube).
Each video now carries its own title, its category, its tags and, if you put timestamps in the description, its chapters. You can also set your own thumbnail, except on Shorts, which do not accept one.
Shorts are detected on their own: if the video is vertical or square and lasts 3 minutes or less, YouTube treats it as a Short, with no need for ōrbita to mark it.
After publishing
Once the video is published, a new button, Share link on other networks, leaves a text draft with the link for Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, depending on what you have connected. And Facebook posts now accept links without an image.
Your AI already knows YouTube
If you have your AI connected to ōrbita, it already knows how to write a YouTube video the way it should be done: a title within YouTube’s limit, a description with the key message in the first two lines, well-formed chapters, tags and category. How to ask for it, with examples: Ask your AI for YouTube videos (guide available in Spanish only for now).
New metrics
In Metrics you have two new cards for YouTube: how many videos you have published compared to those that already have views, and at what time of day yours usually start best.
